What's the current series about?

It's November, a season for thanksgiving.  And while we all have things we can be thankful for, did you know there are specific physical and emotional health benefits to us when we embrace an attitude of gratitude?  It can actually lower blood pressure, improve immune function and facilitate more efficient sleep, just to name a few.  A life and mindset intentional about looking for and thanking God for blessings big and small puts the circumstances of our lives into a new context: when we focus on the abundance we receive from Him, studies have shown that gratitude effectively increases happiness!

So, yes, we all have those days where we wake up on the wrong side of the bed.  Or where someone or something sucker punches us with unexpected or devastating news.  What if we stopped, for just 5 minutes a day even in those moments, and wrote down something we are grateful for? Instead of letting our day-to-day troubles pull us under, what if took hold of a 'gratitude adjustment' and allowed our blessings to help us rise?  This series will dive into what God's word has to say on the subject.  Come be a part -you might be surprised how much your life, relationships and opportunities improve with just this one small change in your mindset.

You are welcome to come and see, learn some things you might never have been taught before and evaluate ideas that just might change your life forever. Invite someone to come with you! Riverside is a safe place to do life with other people who can help & encourage you, and to learn more about what it looks like to walk in faith. Join us Sundays for uplifting music and practical teaching you can really understand and apply to your life, we're saving a seat just for you!
