What's the current series about?
Foundation: an underlying base or support. especially : the whole masonry substructure of a building : a body or ground upon which something is built up or overlaid.
Ever played Jenga? Or built with Lincoln logs or blocks (or the painfully foot-stabbing LEGOs that get left on the floor)? Those type of childhood gems quickly make in obvious that if you haven't built a good base for your masterpiece, it'll come tumbling down pretty quickly.
Construction is a great picture of just how important the foundation is; without a good base, you are likely to waste lots of time and money on a structure that won't last. The same can be said of our personal and professional endeavors. Whether it's building your career, raising kids, planning for retirement, or even the day-to-day practice of balancing our emotional and physical health, making time to establish a firm foundation and strong superstructure are critical components to establishing a lasting, healthy outcome.
So what are you building on? Our series, Foundations, will take time to evaluate what God prioritizes and His blueprint for a transforming, life giving investment in ourselves and others.
