What's the current series about?
Don't you love a good redemption story? It can be so much easier for us to identify with people who have actually made mistakes (sometimes very significant ones) and yet still persevere, learn from their missteps, and end up as powerful contributors to their family and community.
This series will focus on the life of Moses. From an unlikely beginning as a baby floating down the river in a basket in order to avoid being murdered, Moses definitely faced challenges and made some truly terrible life choices in the process. And yet he still became one of the most well remembered leaders of his time, as well as having books and movies chronical his life even today. What was it about him God saw and said, "Yes, he's the one I choose."
Maybe it truly is his flaws and failures that made him the ideal choice. His story is replete with themes of both grace and power. It reminds us clashes in culture and the significance of our choices is nothing new, and why it's still a struggle. It walks through awesome miracles and disappointing obstacles. Victories as well as defeats. Courage and obedience followed by criticism and frustration. Two steps forward, one step back...Moses navigated more than most in his life, and God used every milestone to illustrate why His plans are unstoppable and He can be trusted.
Your story matters too; perhaps the messages in this series are just what you need to hear to help guide your decisions and remind you of His great love for you.
