"Hey there! I’m so glad you stopped by to learn a little more about me.

If you’ve been around Riverside for a while, you might remember that I had the privilege of serving as the Associate Student Ministry Pastor for 13 years. During that time, God grew in me a deep passion for helping students discover Jesus and truly own their faith. Over the years, that passion expanded into a heart for families as well.

Soon, I found God stretching and equipping me for children’s ministry—growing a love and calling I didn’t even know I had. And now, I’m excited to be back at Riverside as the Children’s Ministry Pastor at the Buffalo Campus. Our family is so thankful to reconnect with old friends, build new relationships, and come alongside families as their kids grow to know and love Jesus… and have a ton of fun along the way!

Speaking of family—mine is epic! My wife, Angela, and our two daughters, Millie and Mabel, make life an adventure & I adore them. And then there’s Gus, our goober dog… let’s just say he fits right in with the rest of us.

We live in Buffalo (or “The Buff,” as the locals say), and we’ve loved it. When I’m not at church, you’ll probably find me fishing, checking out a new coffee spot, or enjoying some ice cream—sometimes all at once. I’m also a loyal fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Bears. (And if you happen to see Luke (from our staff)… feel free to call him a “cheese head.” I hear he loves that. lol)

But honestly, my favorite thing is spending time with my girls and extended family—whether that’s at the cabin or visiting family in North Dakota.
