Senior Pastor

Born and raised in Minnesota, I have deep love for this place, the people who live here, and flannel shirts. I married my high school sweetheart, Lindsay and we now have three kids. We can often be found fishing off the dock on Eagle Lake where Linds reels in the big ones and I untangle knots, de-hook fingertips, and refuse to touch the leeches. I only have a few dislikes – sunburns, the Green Bay Packers (Skol!), and overcooked steak. 

Very early on, God gave me passion for preaching and a heart for helping people who were far from God find life in Him. We were able to grow our ministry muscles in church planting spending nearly 11 years serving on the north shore of Boston. Then, God graciously called us back to Minnesota to join the work He’s doing in, with, and through Riverside! We could not be more thrilled to be on mission with Riverside, shoulder to shoulder with a great team, and seeing ALL God has for us in the years to come!
