Erin Pirnat
RK Intern
E Kipa Mai (welcome, come visit), my name is Erin and I serve as an intern with the Riverside Kids (RK) team. I love using my God given gifts to bring God's Word alive through art and fun decorations. I have always been passionate about helping people and prayed for a long time for God to show me how I can use the gifts He has given me for His glory. This internship is the start of that journey, and I am beyond blessed to get this opportunity to see God's purpose for me.
My family and I moved to Becker in 2013 looking for a church. Nothing really stuck until we attended Riverside's Easter service in 2014. After witnessing the people on stage feeling comfortable enough to lay their darkest vulnerabilities out for all to see with no judgment, only love, we were hooked. We knew we had found a place to call home.
I met my husband, Ryan, in high school. We have been together ever since and have four beautiful children. When I'm not serving at Riverside I love planning fun themed parties, drawing with my daughter, dancing, learning ASL with my kids, or singing karaoke from the comfort of my living room.
Jesus wants us all to become like children, dependent on Him alone, having humility, trust, acceptance, joy and wonder. We cannot earn His grace, it's His free gift. Serving with RK constantly reminds me of this. My hope is that every child who attends Riverside has a chance to experience Kid's Ministry. The team does a great job of teaching age-appropriate Scripture lessons through fun games, activitities, and awesome worship songs.
