What's the current series about?
Awake: To become suddenly aware, alive or responsive to something
Alive: Full of activity, spirit, or lively feelings
Ever go to a public event like a concert or game and scan the crowd? It's interesting to note the different responses you might see. Some are fans of the event, sincerely perusing the scorecard or program. Others appear to be there by design, but have divided attention, talking with others or scrolling on their phone. Some are completely bored and disinterested. And then there are the truly animated participants. Might be a family member or friend cheering, a person who's waited months to enjoy this particular event, or even just someone excited by something new they haven't experienced before - they are awake, alive, and ready to engage - what a difference!
Jesus desires a relationship like that with us and He can make all the difference in our story. His transforming grace can free us from the burden of past mistakes allowing us to be alive in Him and fully engaged in His good plans for us and for others. His gift celebrates the truth when we walk with Him we are forgiven and can be forgiving, facing each day with joy and purpose.
In this four week series we will be exploring God's Word to discover what it has to say about living in this kind of grace. What might it look like to be alive not only to Him, but to each other and His mission for us? We're inviting you to come find out; maybe the messages in this series are just what you need to bring a fresh perspective and remind you of His great love for you.
You are welcome to come and see, learn some things you might never have been taught before and evaluate ideas that just might change your life forever. Invite someone to come with you!
