Every time you give to Riverside Church, you partner with the church’s mission of reaching people with the transforming love of Jesus. Because of your generosity, hope is shared, families are strengthened, relationships are built, and lives are transformed. We are so thankful for you!
WHY GIVING MATTERS
Sharing with others what God has so freely given us provides satisfaction and joy that far exceeds any other investment we can ever make. The opportunity to be a part of the work God is accomplishing will change your life as well as the lives of those reached by the ministry you help support.
To express your gratitude to God and join in what He is doing. Giving opens the door to a life of purpose bigger than ourselves and is an important part of growing in a walk of faith.
The answer to that question is between you and God. A tithe, or 10%, is often considered a benchmark for Biblical giving. However, God owns everything already; we are his stewards. Learning to trust God in this area and asking His help to be generous is one of the most significant ways we can grow.

WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF MY GIVING?
Regular giving helps us plan what ministry we can support and it helps you take steps in your faith and in your generosity.
WHAT IF I GET PAID ON THE 15TH AND 30TH, HOW DO I SET UP A RECURRING GIFT?
If you find that the selections of "weekly" and "every two weeks" don't match up with your regular pay schedule, you can use the "monthly" option and set up two regular recurring gifts: one on the 15th day of the month and one on the 31st day of the month. Be aware if a month has only 28, 29, or 30 days, your gift may not post until the 1st.
WHAT IF I WANT TO INCREASE OR CHANGE MY GIVING?
You can modify your recurring gifts at any time. If you are using our secure platform, log in to your account, click on the My Giving button, and then choose "Schedules/History." You can then cancel any current recurring gifts and create new ones for the modified amount.
HOW WILL I KNOW THE TRANSACTION OCCURRED?
You receive an email confirmation after the transaction occurs. All donations will also appear on your Giving Statement, which you can access at any time through your profile in our giving platform.
HOW DOES RIVERSIDE UPHOLD FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY?
Riverside is committed to honoring God’s provision by exercising wise and faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and financial integrity. We accomplish this through a system of internal controls and an internal budgeting and reporting process, including an annual audit.
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
