Brett Krohn

Tech & Creative Arts Associate Pastor

My name is Brett Krohn. My wife Melissa and I have attended Riverside since 1997. We have two incredible adult children, Garrett and Elise who are married to amazing spouses, Hannah and Stephen. Melissa and I live in Monticello and have been a part of the education community since 2006. Melissa teaches band at Monticello Middle School and I was honored to have served at Monticello High School as Director of Bands for the past 14 years. After 30 years in music education, I am excited to be here at Riverside. With backgrounds in music education and computer science, I’ll be using and developing gifts and abilities to now serve our Lord here at Riverside. I don’t enjoy cold weather or our seemingly endless MN winters but we call MN home because we cherish the relationships with our friends and family here. I have a history of running including 4 half marathons. I love playing trumpet at church and in various other ensembles, and cornet in the Lake Wobegon® Brass Band. I enjoy hiking, reading, tech stuff, sports of all kinds, and have a special affinity for golf.
