Creative Arts Associate

Hey, my name is Blake Welhouse, and I serve as the Creative Arts Associate at Riverside. I was born and raised in Appleton, WI, where I spent four years serving at my home church and growing in my passion for worship ministry. During that time, I also met my wonderful wife, Katie.

Katie and I joined the Riverside family in the summer of 2022, and we’ve loved getting to call Riverside home ever since. Since being here, it’s been a joy to help create spaces where people can encounter Jesus through worship, creativity, and community.

We also recently welcomed our daughter, Millie, into our family, and becoming parents has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives. Outside of ministry, I love spending time with family and friends, drinking good coffee, and getting out on the golf course whenever I can.

I’m incredibly thankful to be part of what God is doing at Riverside and excited to continue serving alongside this amazing church family.
