More Than a Story

• So when you're in the middle of life's storms, what are you  on to? 
• When we're in the middle of life's storms, the most common of human emotions comes front and center in our hearts and minds = .
• When life's storms and challenges arrive univited into our lives, we're faced with two choices = fight or flight (or fear or ). 
• Even though Jesus had predicted His death...what would Jesus' disciples do when their plans, dreams, and hopes would come  down from a blood-stained cross?

• Jesus is the embodiment of God's grace.

• Because Easter is more than just a story...God's grace and genuine faith become things we can hold on to when the unavoidable storms of life sweep  into our personal lives. 
• Jesus can  anyone's life, including your life; but it's your choice what you're going to hold on to.
