Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God's throne. (Hebrews 12:1-2)

 

When have you ever felt ?

 

 

Is there any expectation that you're to be ?*

What if you didn't ignore nor fake it through struggles, but invited Jesus into your ? (see 2 Corinthians 12:8-9)

 

  

To sum all of that up:

  • Feeling overwhelmed  you've lost your way. 
  • We all need  in taking our next steps.
  • There is not guarantee of outcomes, but there is a guarantee of . 

 

We're all running the same race with the same finish line... and yet we all have different .

  • You are circumstantially an  being. 
  • You are interactively a  being. 
  • You are biologically a  being. 
  • You are foundationally a  being. 

 

How did people in the Bible who struggled with a dark thought express it and ?

God's Part: A Savior With  

 

Stuck in the middle?

  • You may not know the  of your struggle, but you can invite God to make a difference in you right now. (Psalm 94:19)
  • You don't need to do the "I'm fine" game. (1 Peter 5:7-9)
  • Don't let  be the boss. (1 Timothy 6:8)
  • Be honest about what's lost, and yet focus on . (Romans 8:38-39)
  • Let the Lord love you, and also love Him back by taking steps of faith that  your trust in Him.
