Note Mark 2:1-12

So what can we learn from the various groups of people in this  account?

1. There Are Always People With  (note Mark 2:3)

Note Acts 3:2

at all our campuses/venues and online, there are people in need.

There's nothing  with being in need.

When you're in need, you need to focus on God, His truth, His , sing, pray, worship and connect with God's people..

The worst thing to do when you're in need is to isolate yourself from God, His truth and His people.

You become spiritually  (note 1 Peter 5:8)

2. There Are Always People Who

It wasn't  to bring this person to Jesus (note Mark 2:4).

But they let  stop them (note Romans 12:10; Philippians 2:4; Galatians 6:2).

3. There Are Always People Who Are

Note Mark 2:1-2a

Most of the people gathered this day were , decent people.

They wanted to see and  Jesus.

They were in with the people who were  them...

They were in their Jesus-following circle/...

...and without knowing or even  it, just because they were so preoccupied with their own needs and desires, they had their backs turned to this paralyzed man.

Not only were they not being helpful to this person so he could get to Jesus, they were actually an  to him getting to Jesus.

4. There Are Always People Who Are

Note Mark 2:5

This immediately caught the attention of the religious leaders, who regarded themselves as the  of the faith and THE final authority on spiritual matters (note Mark 2:6-7).

Sometimes Jesus gives us what we  before He gives us what we .

There are always people who are critics, , and fault-finders.

Jesus didn't  for His critics (note Mark 2:8-12).
